We started Day 4 off as usual with breakfast at the hotel and the daily trip to starbucks. Thank goodness for gift cards! Every morning started off with a dark roast and extra shot of expresso. At this point, I am starting to get tired of hotel eggs, but free is free! Our first appointment of the day was with Nobland. They are a textile and apparel manufacturer based out of Korea. We were able to meet with the Creative Director. He talked about their main clients such as Target, Alexander Wang, and Gap. We were able to hear the process of creating the textiles and meeting with the buyers from the different companies and how they tailor their presentation differently based on who they are speaking with. He was very informative and the number one thing he wanted us to take away was "Never say no!" After that we got to meet with the ladies of Pink Chicken. They are a childrenswear company that produces their own textiles as well. We got to see their boards and how they get inspired by vintage fabrics for their own collections. The design room was pretty much how you would imagine it with flats tacked with fabrics in seasonal groups. They were my favorite group to listen to up until this point. Jeffery was the next appointment. It is high end store that carries well known designers. They have awesome merchandising, and the Assistant Store manager was very imformative about the company. We go to learn alot about the history of Jeffery and the store operates. There was this awesome painting on the building across the street. One of my favorite things I saw while in New York.

We had lunch in Chelsea Market. Talk about crazy!! So many people in a hurry, and where the heck do you sit to eat?!? Oh wait, this is New York, you don't. There was this awesome veggie sushi place that I got sushi from. No fish, all veggies. It was so good! Definitely would go back.

Our last appointment of the day was with Izquierdo Studios, a costume company. They create this unimaginable pieces for movies and people. Apparently, this is where Heidi Klum gets here Halloween costumes at each year. Also, they have created some of the wings for Victoria's Secert. Talk about awesome! I mean seriously, each female dreams about being an Angel. Just like all the other days we are tired wet messes. All that walking can wear a person down. We are finally getting the hang of the subway, and my poor map has seen better days. Dinner that was at an Indian restaurant called Benares. Hands down one of my favorite meals in New York. I love curry and it was some of the best I had ever had. Also, their lemon rice was to die for. After dinner some of us decided to check something else off our list, Serendipity! We must have frozen hot cocoa before we leave the Big Apple. It was definitely worth the $8.50!
